If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not view or use the site or any of Star Rising Ministries Life Coaching and counseling services.
Access to view and/or use this site and services are intended for individuals eighteen years of age and older who do not suffer from a major mental disorder.

Pastor Steve Garcia and Sherry Lynne reserves the right to make changes to the Site and to these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we make changes, we will post them here. For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms whenever you use our Site because by visiting the site, you agree to accept any such changes.

Pastor Steve Garcia and Sherry Lynne's Counseling and Life Coaching services, programs, website, information are presented and offered to give insight into disease, its problems and its possible solutions in the area of disease eradication and/or prevention. Treatment modalities around a person's specific health issues are between you and your physician. Star Rising Ministries, Pastor Steve Garcia and Sherry Lynne are not responsible for a person's disease, nor are they responsible for their healing. Pastor Steve Garcia and Sherry Lynne are ministers administering the Scriptures and what they say about this subject, along with what the medical and scientific communities have also observed in line with this insight. There is no guarantee that any person will be healed or any disease be prevented. If you are a vegetarian or have allergies or have any other special physical/mental requirements, you are aware that any foods, products purchased from or recommended by Star Rising Ministries, Pastor Steve Garcia or Sherry Lynne, amino acids, minerals, vitamins, herbs other non-prescriptive modules, procedures and advice suggested by Star Rising Ministries, Pastor Steve Garcia or Sherry Lynne, are taken at your sole choice and risk and that you do not hold Star Rising Ministries, Pastor Steve Garcia or Sherry Lynne responsible for any allergic, medical or psychological reactions or effects from any purchases or recommendations by Star Rising Ministries, Pastor Steve Garcia or Sherry Lynne.
I understand that Star Rising Ministries, Pastor Steve Garcia and Sherry Lynne's services are not designed for people with Bipolar disorder. I acknowledge that I do not have Bipolar Disorder.
I understand that pregnant women and nursing mothers should avoid certain non-prescriptive modules and procedures suggested by Star Rising Ministries, Pastor Steve Garcia or Sherry Lynne, unless recommended by their physician.
You understand that at times, counseling, advice, prayer or deliverance that We give, may be provided without the benefit of a comprehensive evaluation of the your conditions, which is required for a full and complete assessment.
Star Rising Ministries, Pastor Steve Garcia or Sherry Lynne shall not be responsible for laboratory test results, laboratory errors, manufacturers' product labels, and manufacturers' product disclosures or non-disclosures in any products purchased or recommended by Star Rising Ministries, Pastor Steve Garcia or Sherry Lynne. Supplements, lab tests, samples or products purchased from Star Rising Ministries, Pastor Steve Garcia or Sherry Lynne are not refundable or exchangeable and are taken at client's sole choice and own risk. Some products have ingredients that can cause negative reactions and therefore it is client's responsibility to review the products and clear consumption with client's physician before consumed.
You understand that Pastor Steve Garcia or Sherry Lynne are not medical doctors or psychologists, psychotherapists or dieticians and you are not seeking Star Rising Ministries, Pastor Steve Garcia or Sherry Lynne for medical diagnostic or medical procedures. Star Rising Ministries, Pastor Steve Garcia or Sherry Lynne's modules include but are not limited to counseling, prayer, healing, deliverance and biblical counseling services are holistic, alternative or complimentary to healing arts that are licensed by the State of California, under Section 2053.5 and 2053.6 of California's Business and Professionals Code which include consultation, education, assessment of nutritional imbalances/weaknesses in order to help support the innate healing response of the body by helping clients support their unique nutritional needs, biblical counseling/prayer, healing, supplement and product recommendations, behavior modification, stress management, grief-recovery and assertiveness training. Also under Section 2053.5 and 2053.6, you understand that SL services to be provided are not licensed by the state.
Confidentiality and Privacy:
Pastor Steve Garcia or Sherry Lynne's Life Coaching and counseling services are confidential. Pastor Steve Garcia and Sherry Lynne are responsible for protecting the confidentiality of all forms of client information that we gather, including but not limited to written, by phone, text, messaging, oral and tape-recorded, Skype, ZOOM or other, and in most cases, may disclose information about you only with your written authorization. However, confidentiality may be broken under the following emergency conditions: 1) when there is substantial risk of an imminent and serious physical injury to you or to other persons. Pastor Steve Garcia or Sherry Lynne can legally break confidentiality if, in their professional judgement you are a danger to yourself or others and/or if you are in danger of being harmed by other persons; 2) when the information you disclose contains evidence of current physical or sexual abuse of minor children, elderly adults, or adults with disabilities which make them more vulnerable to abuse; 3) in response to a court order; 4) in the course of a civil, criminal or disciplinary action arising from the counseling where the counselor is a defendant; for purposes of supervision or consultation; or by previously obtained written permission; 5) in cases involving more than one person (as client) written permission must be obtained from all legally accountable persons who have been present during the counseling before any disclosure can be made.
Star Rising Ministries, Pastor Steve Garcia or Sherry Lynne will not sell or exchange your personal information to anyone. Any information you share with us is held with the utmost care and security. Your e-mail address or street address will not be sold to a third party.

Use of the programs, prayer, healing, deliverance, advice, counseling and information contained through the Site or from the Site's counselors, affiliates, associates, partners or participants or others or other sites where We have made posts, posted advice, comments, banners, images, written descriptions or advertisements, is at the sole choice and risk of the Client(s) or reader. These Terms contain the entire understanding of the parties regarding their subject matter, and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements and understandings between the parties regarding their subject matter. The Terms and the relationship between you and us shall be governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States of America without regard to any conflict of law provisions. No failure or delay by a party in exercising any right, power or privilege under these Terms shall operate as a waiver thereof. The invalidity or unenforceability of any of these Terms shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other of these Terms, all of which shall remain in full force and effect. You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of the Site or the Terms must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will be submitted to confidential binding arbitration in Chatsworth Superior Court, California. Arbitration under these Terms will be conducted under the prevailing rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator's award will be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under these Terms will be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to these Terms, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise. Notwithstanding the foregoing, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate the intellectual property rights of Us, these persons or entities may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the state of California, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Should a dispute arise between the Client and Star Rising Ministries, Pastor Steve Garcia or Sherry Lynne of $7,500 or less, such matter shall be heard in the Chatsworth Small Claims Court. For the plaintiff the judges decision is a final determination of that matter. On any sums in dispute in excess of the small claims jurisdiction those claims shall be heard by a neutral arbitrator. On written demand and within 14 days of the written demand each party shall submit a panel of three neutral arbitrators to the other party. If the parties cannot agree upon which neutral arbitrator shall be the arbitrator their names shall be placed in a container and one selected in the presence of each party. Should either party decide not to be present for the selection process than that party is in default and the party not in default may select the arbitrator of his or her choosing. The arbitrator's decision shall be a final determination of any issues between the parties without any right of appeal. Each party shall pay one-half of the arbitrator's fees and expenses within 10 days of the arbitrator's request for fees and expenses. Should any party not pay his or her fees or expenses on a timely basis that party shall be in default and the other party may proceed to arbitration on a default prove-up basis without the right of the defaulting party to appear or present any evidence on his or her behalf. Each party shall have the right of discovery pursuant to the rules of the California Code of Civil Procedure. Upon the final judgment of the arbitrator the arbitrator's judgment shall be entered in the Chatsworth Superior Court and a formal judgment shall be obtained.
International Use of Site:
We control and operate the Site from the United States, and all information is processed within the United States. We do not represent that materials on the Site are appropriate or available for use in other locations. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in connection with your use of the Site. It is possible that some software that may be downloaded from the Site is subject to government export control or other restrictions. By visiting and using our Site, you acknowledge these restrictions and agree that either you are not subject to them or you will comply with all applicable laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported from the United States.
Limitations Period:
Any claim or cause of action you may have with respect to the Company, or Ministry, or the Site must be commenced within one (1) month after the claim or cause of action arose.
No Assignment:
You may not assign the Terms or any of your rights or obligations under the Terms without the Ministry, or Company’s express written consent. The Terms inure to the benefit of the Ministry or Company’s successors, assigns and licensees. Permission is not granted to reproduce, copy or distribute any part of this website without prior approval from Star Rising Ministries and Pastor Steve Garcia.
